Situated in the park-like residential area of Kolbotn semi-urban center, this single family dwellings mediates between the two urban layouts. In order to enhance the landscape features and to ensure that all apartments enjoy sun and view, the new structure is stepped diagonally up the slope in order to fully expose the existing terrain and drag the old farm into the complex.
The apartments are spacious with generous proportions even though they are long and narrow. Large balconies are oriented in particular order, for optimal sunexposure and views, while at the same time provide privatecy and reduce sunheating.
