Papperhavn cabin gives illusions of soaring above the ground. The surrounding nature is beautiful untouched vegetation and rocks, the building is overlooking the sea. Large glass doors can be opened to give a feeling of brining the nature inside. The cabin is cladded with pine, and for the interior smooth and light ash is used. The untreated pine will adjust after the weather conditions and develop a silver-grey colour, which again will bring an resemblance to many of the boathouses along the coastline.
