Brunlanes cabin consists of three separate buildings – including a house for sleeping. The buildings are brought together by the terrace and glass roof. The cabin is located in Brunlanes – on the Norwegian coast where the weather is rough and has a great impact on the materials and architecture. Cladding was, therefore, one of the focus points during the building process of the cabin. The cabin is cladded with untreated wood – a material that can resist the salt water, strong wind and variable climate.
